You will be nestled in the most desirable spot in Winter Park - very close to Winter Park Resort/Village but away from road noise, train noise (through Old Town/Slopeside/Trademark) and crowds. Take a 10-minute stroll, ski-in/out, or utilize the free shuttle which stops at Breeze Ski Rental 150 yards away to zip back and forth to Winter Park Resort in ski season and the Town of Winter Park year-round.

Our luxury home is equipped with an automated keypad at the front door, allowing secure, easy access throughout your stay. We even provide direct garage access with a separate exterior garage keypad, which is highly unusual in this area and very convenient, especially when it's cold.
Parking couldn't be easier, with an oversized, heated one-car garage plus driveway parking for two additional cars and nearby overflow parking.
Household essentials are all provided, including luxury bed linens; fluffy white towels; thick, oversized hot tub towels; humidifiers; hair dryers; laundry, dish, dishwasher and hand soaps; paper towels, TP, trash bags and tissues; and even full-sized pump bottles of quality shower amenities - body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. There is plenty of everything to last throughout your stay, not just a "starter supply".
The Wolf/Sub-Zero kitchen is fully equipped with gadgets, tools, and appliances including crockpot, toaster, blender, mixer, microwave, warming drawer, and two full-size programmable coffee makers; lots of quality Calphalon cookware, dishes, glassware and serving platters/bowls and even things like Baggies, Tupperware, foil, salt, pepper, oil, and spices. We visit our second home frequently so we keep it well-maintained and nicely equipped.
This vacation rental is professionally cleaned and maintained, follows all local and state tax rules, and is fully licensed by the Town of Winter Park (license #4522). We have excellent local maintenance/housekeeping staff right in Winter Park to take care of any issue or need that may arise during your stay.
Our Concierge Guide/House Manual contains everything you need to know about the property, recommended restaurants/activities throughout the year, where to rent equipment/buy lift tickets, etc. - so you can "live like a local". It can be accessed online anytime after booking, is frequently updated, and is loved by guests!
To ski out, walk approximately 80 yards on a maintained, snow-packed hiking trail which is right next to our home. Head up some stairs and you will be on the green/easy Corridor ski trail. Click into your skis and ski approximately two minutes on Corridor directly to the base of Winter Park Resort.
To ski in, take Corridor run (one blue/intermediate run necessary to get to Corridor) to the top of the stairs. Click out of your skis, walk down the stairs, and walk approximately 80 yards on the maintained, snow-packed trail to get directly to our home, which is right next to the private trail.
Ski-in/out access, from any property in Winter Park, is not designed for beginners or very young children - they should take the free shuttle (see "Getting Around" section below). Our property's free "green line" shuttle stops much closer to the slopes and ski school than any parking lot (including short-term drop-off) or any other shuttle lines. If you value both luxury AND convenience, you've found the right place!
Be aware that properties in the Bridger's Cache neighborhood near the base of Mary Jane (the only other neighborhood with large ski-in/out homes) do not offer any type of shuttle service, are a long drive from Winter Park Resort, and are a 1/4 mile walk in ski boots from the base of Mary Jane. Ski School and nearly all beginner runs are at the Winter Park base, not Mary Jane. Beginners and most children will not be happy at Mary Jane, which is loaded with moguls (bumps) and designed for expert skiers.
We provide both ski-in/ski-out access for intermediate/advanced skiers and the best shuttle service for beginners/small children. If you have a mixed-ability group, our property is absolutely perfect! Also, non-skiing members of your group will love being a short walk (1/4 mile, 10 minutes, easy when not in ski boots) or short, free shuttle ride from the Resort with nearby shops, restaurants, even a small day spa for a massage.
During ski season, the Town of Winter Park runs a free Ski Shuttle via different routes between SOME local properties and the Resort/Village. The one servicing our property (the "green line") is awesome!
1) It runs every 20 minutes, the most frequent line in their system, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, seven days a week.
2) It stops at Breeze Ski Rental, 150 yards from our front door.
3) The green line shuttle is the ONLY line that drops you right at the WP Resort base (lifts, ski school) without having to lug your gear, while wearing ski boots, all through the Village.
4) The green line only serves a couple of developments so it's not hauling you all over town.
From 6pm to 2am, year round, the free "Night Lift" shuttle service can take your group to any of the popular spots in Winter Park or Fraser and back home.

The town of Winter Park is 2 miles (10 minute car ride) away - it's a typical ski town with restaurants, some shopping, and a large, nice Safeway for groceries.
This ski season ('18/'19) is shaping up to be the best ever with $28 million in WP Resort improvements (a brand new 10-person high-speed gondola at the base, all-new snowmaking equipment) and great snow!
For activities, go to Winter Park Resort's website and click on Menu at the top. The PlayWinterPark website is also a great resource. Our Winter sports (especially skiing) are legendary, but did you know that the Resort base is turned into an Adventure Park every day from mid-June through Labor Day (and then weekends only through September 30)? We are within easy walking distance of the Resort and the beautiful Village. Hiking is right out our back door, with acres and acres of National Forest land to explore, in addition to many other hiking trails throughout the area. Award-winning Pole Creek Golf Club is just a 20-minute drive. Downtown Winter Park hosts regular summer concerts and has a very nice kids play area, climbing wall and skate park. There's a large, new, all-indoor "Grand Park" rec center with basketball, gym, climbing wall, and giant pool with slide right in Winter Park.
Be aware that in the low season (May/early June; October/early November) there are limited restaurants and attractions open, just like in any ski town. If you're looking for a quiet getaway without crowds, that's the time to visit.
